Think Before you Toss
Last year we made a batch of Dali Bar energy bars, but a mistake in the production process caused them to not taste as good as we’d like, even though they were still safe for consumption. Rather than simply throwing away this product that did not meet our standards, we decided to recycle them back into the food chain. We donated them to a local farmer outside Kunming, who says his pigs love Dali Bars as much as humans do and are growing bigger and healthier by the day.
We hope everybody can think harder about how to to reuse and recycle resources rather than just throwing things away.
