Round Up: Village Progress Migrant School Health and Education Project

The text and photos below come to us from Village Progress, the non-profit sister organization of Dali Bar. Every purchase of Dali Bar supports health and education programs such as this. For more information about Village Progress, click here.

18 November 2013—With the help of some local art teachers, volunteers and some close friends, last week Village Progress was able to work with 350 migrant school children on some simple art and health projects. The projects were meant to give children an opportunity to showcase their individual creativity and also learn a little about first aid and CPR. The art and health education aside, it was a good opportunity for underprivileged students to interact one on one with local and foreign instructors. We hope to run more projects like this in the future and could use a few creative volunteers if you are interested. The following photos are from the day we spent with the students.
